Small Business Workforce Resiliency with AI

In partnership with Jobs for the Future (JFF), Main Street Assembly designed and delivered a national initiative that introduced small businesses to practical AI resources through a worker-centered lens, helping them strengthen business resilience while supporting a more stable, skilled workforce. The effort brought together regional small business development partners and employers from across the country and combined learning, peer exchange, and hands-on implementation support.

The engagement included:

• Curating worker-centered AI tools and resources relevant to small business operations

• Recruiting regional small business development partners and participating businesses nationwide

• Hosting a series of online learning and peer exchange events

• Providing hands-on technical assistance to a select cohort of businesses

• Supporting implementation of AI tools and workforce practices in real business settings

• Capturing lessons learned to inform future programs and scalable adoption models
